Yash Lohar

Yash works on the rover’s power-distribution hardware, wiring harnesses, safety cutoffs and battery protection. These are the parts of the electrical system that must remain understandable and dependable as more subsystems are connected and tested. His role gives the team focused attention on how power reaches the vehicle’s working hardware.

His independent STM32 handheld-console project shows the same interest at a smaller scale: designing charging, battery protection, buck and boost supplies from component datasheets. With further training in PLC, SCADA and industrial automation, he brings practical power-electronics experience to the rover team.
