Vighnesh Madhav Deshmukh

Vighnesh looks after the connection between LEAP-One and the people operating it. He leads the primary telemetry and video link and the independent backup control path, while also contributing to the software department. This combination puts communications reliability and software integration in the same pair of hands.

A mechanical engineering graduate at Hochschule Schmalkalden, he has expanded his experience through mechatronics, additive manufacturing and ROS 2 training. He is a coauthor of the LEAP-One design preprint, which documents the rover’s mechanical, electrical and communication architecture.
