Ayan Akbar Ali

Ayan designed LEAP-One’s electrical architecture from the ground up: power distribution, safety systems and the connections between mobility, drilling and the robotic arm. Leading the electrical team means making those subsystems work as one system, from the battery and regulated rails to the motor controllers.

His testing updates describe validating the ODrive setup and emergency-stop chain before field trials—checking that the rover could stop safely as well as move. A master’s student at Hochschule Schmalkalden and coauthor of the LEAP-One design preprint, Ayan brings the same attention to architecture, bench testing and practical integration.
