Rahul Kamatagi

Rahul works on the fit and assembly of the rover’s mechanical and manipulator components. His responsibilities include CNC-part assembly, joint tolerances and structural checks in the lab and field—details that determine whether a design can move and carry loads as intended.

He brings professional experience from Tata Technologies to his master’s in Mechatronics and Robotics at Hochschule Schmalkalden. He has also represented HSM Aries at Space Night Jena, explaining the rover and drone programme to visitors. His contribution connects practical mechanical work with the ability to communicate what the team is building.
