On the team

Niranjan supports the mechanical team with suspension kinematics, wheel design and terrain testing. His mentoring helps students examine what their mechanisms do under load and how a physical robot differs from an ideal model.

At Hochschule Schmalkalden, Niranjan Kannali Ramesha has worked with Nikhil Meduri and Professor Schrödel on adapting low-cost collaborative robots for precision measurement with PREMETEC. Their work led to a 2026 European Control Conference paper on spatial-error characterisation and correction. He has also presented work on extreme-ultraviolet laser wavefront sensing, bringing a broader measurement background to his practical robotics guidance.
