K.K.Achari

K.K. Achari helps the team work through the distance between a promising concept and a manufacturable mechanism. As industry mentor and a link to Boehm Group, he supports component selection, engineering reviews and fabrication decisions for systems such as the manipulator, drill and suspension.

His public account of the role emphasises durability, practical use and the constraints of making parts. He is also a coauthor of the LEAP-One design preprint. His contribution gives students access to an industrial perspective while they learn to justify design choices, prepare reviews and bring hardware into the field.
