From motors to safety systems, the heart of the rover is coming online.

Our rover project has entered an exciting new phase as the team begins testing the core electronic systems. Team lead Harsha and electrical lead Ayan, under the guidance of our university mentor Prashanth, are spearheading the validation of key components—including the Odrive S1 motor controllers, hub motors, battery modules, relays, and the emergency stop system—to ensure performance, reliability, and safety.

Early trials have already demonstrated smooth motor response and stable power delivery, while the successful activation of the emergency stop confirms our critical safety measures are fully operational. Each test brings us closer to a fully integrated rover, transforming it from a mechanical framework into a responsive, mobile system.

This milestone marks the beginning of dynamic testing, where power, control, and safety converge to prepare the rover for its first real-world field trials.
